Annotation: The message on this propaganda poster is printed in Yiddish, appealing to new immigrants sense of patriotic spirit and recruiting the new arrivals to participate in the war effort. The message on the poster states: “FOOD WILL WIN THE WAR. You came here seeking Freedom. You must now help to preserve it. Wheat is needed for the allies. Waste nothing!” These posters were also printed in English and Italian.
