MyHistory
allows students to create portfolios that document their projects
and historical explorations, their reflections on the material
that they are studying, and their intellectual growth. These portfolios
are stored on our servers, downloaded, or e-mailed.
Unlike
commercial online learning environments, which are first and foremost
course management tools, MyHistory emphasizes
active learning, historical inquiry, and meaningful, engaged learning.
