Housing discrimination forced Asians to congregate together in overcrowded circumstances.
Only a very few Chinese could find houses in American districts, for most house owners do not want Chinese tenants. They are forced to live in close quarters. The buildings are…dark and gloomy, with no bath rooms and no privacy.
