Annotation: While muralist Judith Baca was in residency at Harvard University, she and several of her graduate students created this digital mural for the Denver International Airport in 1998. The mural, La Memoria de Nuestra Tierra (Our Land Has Memory), tells the history of the indigenous people of the Southwest. Baca is the founder and artistic director of the Social and Public Art Resource Center (SPARC) in Los Angeles. The digital mural was completed in the SPARC/UCLA Cesar Chavez Digital/Mural Lab at SPARC.
